March Monthly Minute: Our Local Church Partners

Jesus told a parable and said, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few." We at The Philadelphia Project believe this parable and the need to have more workers in the field. In response to this, TPP partners with local churches here in Philadelphia by providing them with additional support staff and volunteers to help carry out their mission. TPP has done this for years, and we've seen God work in miraculous ways through a variety of people and programs launched in churches.

Alena Beeman is on staff at The Philadelphia Project and currently serving at Church of the Atonement in Germantown. We've seen Alena build relationships with families within the community, offer educational support to students, aid in Sunday worship and community outreach events, and support the church leadership. We are eager and excited for our relationship with our church partners to deepen as we all work together to accomplish the mission and vision of the local church.

Meet three of our 2021 interns! There is still time and room to apply for our Summer of Service internship. The internship is a paid position this summer. If you know of any college-age individual who would love to grow in their relationship with Christ, other believers, and spend the summer serving in Philadelphia, please forward this link to them! https://thephillyproject.org/internships.
